IT Summer Internship – Spring/Summer 2026
Position: IT Intern, Information Technology Department (1 positions)
Hours and Pay Rate: $15 per hour/35 hours a week.

Internship Overview:
Are you passionate about technology and interested in learning how IT systems keep things running smoothly? We’re looking for an energetic and self-motivated IT Intern to join our team! This is a hands-on internship where you’ll get to work with our experienced IT staff on real-world projects, solve tech problems, and develop your skills for a future career in IT.
What You’ll Do:
As an IT Intern, you’ll support the IT team in maintaining and troubleshooting technology systems. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about areas like hardware, software, cybersecurity, and data management. Here's what you can expect:
- Work with IT Systems: Support the team in maintaining computers, software, and other tech systems.
- Organize and Manage Resources: Help keep track of IT equipment and resources.
- Learn from Experts: Work alongside our experienced Service Desk staff to gain hands-on knowledge in various areas of IT like programming, cybersecurity, and data management.
Skills & Qualifications:
We’re looking for interns who are excited to learn and contribute to our team. Here’s what you’ll need:
- Current Arlington High School student.
- Strong Communication Skills: You’ll need to explain tech issues clearly to people who may not be familiar with IT.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Be curious and eager to figure out how things work and how to fix them.
- Team Player: We work together, and we’re looking for someone who is ready to pitch in and collaborate.
- Attention to Detail: We need someone who is organized and takes pride in their work.
Physical Requirements:
This is an office-based position that may require you to:
- Stand or walk for short periods of time.
- Lift or carry items up to 30 pounds.
- Use a computer for extended periods.
