Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction to students within the small group and co-teach in the regular education classrooms. This includes planning and teaching in a small group program class.
- Plan and modify the regular curriculum.
- Consult with regular education staff.
- Monitor student progress.
- Develop IEPs and determine goals and objectives.
- Prepare progress reports.
- Maintain contact with parents.
- Attend building learning team meetings.
- Direct the work of teaching assistants.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Building Principal and/or Special Education Administrator.
