What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Temp - Customer Service position at Arlington Independent School District?
ROLE AND PURPOSE:
- To support the Human Resources function of AISD by providing customer service to internal/external clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
EXPERIENCE:
- General office skills
- Proficient typing, keyboarding, telephone and file maintenance skills
- Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and word processing
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) including good telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide exemplary customer service to all district employees on first level human resources issues
- Complete verification of employment requests
- Complete the on-boarding process during new hire orientations
- Respond to incoming human resources email and the customer service queue
- Process records requests, change of address requests, change of name requests
- Work extensively with the TEAMS district program
- Prepare reports and perform other related administrative duties as required and/or needed
- All other duties as assigned by Director or Manager
