Summary
We are seeking a Samples Department associate to join our team in Scranton Pa. This role is vital in supporting our sales and customer service efforts by building sample displays, packaging, palletizing, and organizing samples inventory to ensure smooth daily operations at our warehouse location.
Responsibilities
- Organize sample displays to ensure accurate storage and distribution warehouse order selection.
- Assist salesmen by providing product information and samples to support their sales efforts.
- Forklift operation to organize and store completed projects in a warehouse setting.
- Respond to emails and salesmen/showroom requests for replacements or samples of new lines of merchandise.
- Ensure excellent customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
- Building sample boards using provided tools such as hot glue guns, epoxy products and tile cutting saws.
- Support overall operations by stocking shelves and maintaining a clean environment.
- Gathering tile and material for use in building projects and ensuring paperwork is completed correctly.
- Qualifications
- Forklift certified a plus but not required - training on site provided.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Strong organization skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to measure, mark and cut tile using powered tools and hand tools
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately.
- Previous experience in a tile or home improvement store is preferred but not required.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
