Arlene’s Cuisine is a food service company that provides quality, nutritious meals to private and charter schools across the state of Ohio. Arlene’s is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, and also has a kitchen in Cleveland, Ohio.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The School Meal Delivery Driver fills a very important role at our company. You will be delivering breakfast and lunch meals to multiple schools daily. It is important that our drivers are reliable, kind/courteous and able to work quickly at various points throughout the day.
Only work when school is in session (August – May); No nights, weekends or holidays
WORK SCHEDULE & REQUIREMENTS
Typical work schedule (Approx. 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week)
- Arrive between 5-6am on time every day
- Load delivery van with lunch & breakfast items for the day, checking off items on the delivery slip
- Deliver meals to schools per your daily route sheet; checking off items on the delivery slip as items are delivered to school
- Record necessary hot food and milk temperatures on the deliver slip
- Return to each school to pick up equipment after lunch has been served
- Return to shop: clean all equipment and delivery van
- Day ends at approx. 1-2pm
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to work on feet for several hours at a time
- Must be able to pass required background checks and driver screenings
- Reliable and on time daily
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
