Summary
Manage and be responsible for the field and non-field sales force which sell into a wide variety of end-users, distributors, and Managed Care channels.
Essential Responsibilities
- Train subordinates in reaching key decision makers and to form positive relationships with them
- Train subordinates to prepare and conduct sales presentations and proposals to those customers and potential customers
- Train subordinates to develop and execute programs designed to gain incremental business with those customers
- Coordinate programs and promotions between the distributors, ARKRAY end user customers and the field sales force
- Direct sales responsibility for key clients.
- Develop pricing strategies per market segment.
- Prepare Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP), teach and instruct team on completing favorable and competitive “Requests”.
- Maintain an awareness of industry and competitive activity necessary for successful business development
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues in other ARKRAY departments so as to address customer and subordinate needs. Also to keep the organization informed of industry changes and competitive issues.
- Perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by management.
- All permanent body art must be unseen when in a customer facing situation.
Knowledge and Skills
- 5 years sales experience working within the industry
- Solid relationships with at least some end users, Managed Care Channels, or distributors
- Strong selling, communication, negotiation, and management skills
- Proven customer service practices that have resulted in building long-term relationships and repeat business
- Highly motivated and self-directed who function well in a results-oriented and dynamic environment
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Possess sound business case development skills, including competency in the construction of case studies and business plans to validate ROI within each competitive channel.
- Situated or would situate near a major airport
