Job Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating bi-weekly payroll and providing day-to-day support to Human Resources and General Affairs. The role supports payroll accuracy and compliance while also assisting with recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, and employee communications.
Essential Job Functions

Coordinate and process bi-weekly payroll to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

Review and enter payroll changes including new hires, terminations, compensation updates, deductions, and benefit changes.

Prepare payroll records, spreadsheets, and reports, and help resolve payroll-related questions.

Process HR updates in the HRIS system.

Support recruiting activities including scheduling interviews, reviewing resumes, and new hire communication.

Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee questions.

Help create and send HR announcements and support training or company event coordination.

Recommend process improvements and support other related HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Marginal / Non-Essential Functions

Support special projects and other reasonably related business duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
This position is primarily office-based with heavy keyboarding and prolonged computer use. Essential functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
Required Qualifications

One (1) or more years of experience in payroll, human resources, or a related administrative function.

Experience supporting payroll processing and maintaining confidential employee information.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

HR certification preferred (PHR).

Japanese or a second language is a plus.
