Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid) – East Coast Candidates Only
Employment Type: Contract
We are looking for strong AWS Data Engineers with recent Banking/Financial Services experience to build and modernize enterprise-scale AWS data platforms.
Mandatory Requirements
- 10 years of overall IT experience
- Must have Banking/Financial Services domain experience
- 5 years of hands-on AWS Data Engineering experience
- Strong experience building AWS Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Applications
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Shell Scripting
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, S3, Athena, EMR/Spark, Redshift, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and CloudFormation
- Experience designing and implementing AWS Data Ingestion Pipelines, ETL/ELT, and Serverless Applications
- Strong understanding of Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Big Data Technologies, and Cloud Architecture
- Experience with CI/CD and enterprise-scale data engineering solutions
Preferred Skills
- API Gateway, Elasticsearch, Kinesis, SQS, Kafka
- Terraform / CloudFormation
- DevOps & CI/CD
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer Certification
- Lakehouse/Data Cloud Architecture
- Data Governance & Compliance
