Solution Architect (New Jersey) – Payments & Virtual Accounting
Hybrid – 3 days work from office.

Role Overview Seeking a senior Solution Architect to support the US region, covering the broader banking technology landscape with aninitial focus on Payments and Virtual Accounting.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide solution architecture leadership across the US banking technology stack.
· Design and drive solutions spanning:
o Digital Banking
o Payments
o Accounting / Finance Platforms
o Data & Analytics Platforms
o Related enterprise banking technologies
· Work with business and technology stakeholders across the region.
· Define architecture roadmaps, target-state solutions, and transformation initiatives.
· Support strategic programmes with strong domain and technology expertise.
Required Experience
· Strong Solution Architecture experience in banking and financial services.
· Deep understanding of Payments ecosystems.
· Experience in Virtual Accounting and related financial processing platforms.
· Exposure to enterprise-scale banking technology landscapes.
· Ability to operate across multiple domains rather than a single platform or application.
Preferred Skills
· Banking domain expertise across Digital, Payments, Accounting, and Data.
· Enterprise architecture and integration experience.
· Stakeholder management across geographically distributed teams.
· Experience leading regional or multi-country technology initiatives.
Location
· United States (or candidates capable of supporting the US region).
Additional Context from the Message
· The role differs from the India-based Data Platform requirement.
· The scope covers the entire US stack, not just Data Platforms.
· The customer has been struggling to fill the position permanently and is open to a staffing/resource swap under the existing FPagreement if suitable candidates are available.
Ideal Profile
Principal Architect / Enterprise Architect
· 15 years experience
· Banking & Financial Services domain
· Strong Payments background (ACH, RTP, FedNow, SWIFT, Cards, Treasury, Cash Management)
· Exposure to Virtual Accounts / Liquidity Management
· Experience engaging directly with CIO, CTO, and Business stakeholders.
