⚡ Electrical Commissioning Engineer | Data Center Projects | Dallas, Texas
We are currently seeking experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineers on behalf of a client delivering major data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
This is an opportunity to join large-scale projects within hyperscale and colocation environments, supporting the commissioning and startup of critical electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead electrical commissioning activities across mission-critical facilities
• Manage switchgear testing and energisation procedures
• Oversee transformer, breaker, and protection system commissioning
• Conduct UPS, battery, and emergency power system testing
• Verify power distribution systems and electrical infrastructure
• Coordinate EPMS, BMS, and controls integration activities
• Execute site acceptance testing (SAT) and functional performance testing
• Review commissioning documentation, reports, and test procedures
• Interface with contractors, vendors, clients, and project teams throughout project delivery
Requirements:
• Experience in electrical commissioning, startup, testing, or mission-critical power systems
• Data center experience preferred, although candidates from critical industrial, utility, or power generation environments are also encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of one-line diagrams, electrical schematics, and commissioning procedures
• Comfortable working on live projects with demanding schedules and fast-paced environments
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical systems is highly desirable
• Open to contract opportunities in the Dallas area
