Digital Marketing Director

Arkansas Times
Little Rock, AR Full Time
POSTED ON 1/2/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/1/2026

The Arkansas Times is looking for a digital powerhouse.

The Arkansas Times is officially on the hunt for our next digital marketing director. We’re looking for a bold, strategic and creative leader ready to take the reins of our ambitious digital growth efforts.

Our current director is moving on to a new opportunity. This departure leaves big shoes to fill, and we’re not sugarcoating it: This is a big job, and we need to fill it quickly to maintain our momentum.

The ideal candidate is a tough self-starter with a deep understanding of the ever-changing digital landscape and a passion for independent journalism. You’ll be tasked with everything from growing digital subscriptions and developing email campaigns to running advertising operations, managing social content, crafting fundraising strategies and building out new products. You’ll also oversee key areas like website management, SEO strategy and event marketing — critical components of our digital ecosystem.

This is a role for someone who can dream big and deliver daily, who isn’t afraid to dive into data or defend a strategy, and who can steer a vision while juggling the fast-moving needs of a legacy newsroom undergoing digital transformation.

If you thrive in a high-autonomy environment and want to make a real difference in Arkansas media, we want to hear from you.
