What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scale Technician position at ARKANSAS LIME COMPANY?
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The scale tech responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Loading and weighing trucks and railcars, utilizing the ticketing system to print truck and railcar BOL’s
· Completing all necessary paperwork required by customers
· Operation of the quicklime loadout system to screen material and fill product bins as demand requires
· Answering the phone and scheduling shipments when needed
· Assist in safety compliance regarding truck drivers and vendors
· Measuring product tanks each shift
· Perform routine housekeeping and minor maintenance of equipment in the area
Job Qualifications:
· Must be capable of learning the operation of the transfer and loading system
· Must be physically able to perform essential functions of the above description
· Must have basic competence in mathematics and computer literacy
· Must be able to receive task training and operate a track mobile efficiently and safely
· Must be able to climb stairs and be comfortable at heights
· Must be able to work 12 hour 4 days on/ 4 days off schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
