GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
This position is responsible for scheduling appointments for members, Associate Financial Advisors, Financial Service Representatives, and/or Lead Financial Advisors, marketing the Retirement and Investment program to Credit Union employees and members, as well as performing administrative functions in support of the Retirement and Investment program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles administrative client requests.
- Reviews all outstanding documents to verify accuracy and compliance.
- Proactively schedules client appointments from referrals, as well as client review appointments.
- Assist representative with scheduling appointments, prepare weekly report of AFCU Retirement and Investment Services representative appointments, and compile new member file kits.
- Assist and attend the AFCU Retirement and Investment Services promotions including employee promotions, member promotions, and seminar preparation. Prepare marketing materials, prepare handout materials, organize list of member attendees and call to confirm attendance.
- Provide administrative support for the AFCU Retirement and Investment Services program to include filing, correspondence, mail sorting, Advisor calendar management, and answering the telephone.
- Solicits additional clients for the registered securities representative.
- Has regular contact with clients regarding their accounts and scheduling review appointments. Must have sufficient knowledge to assist clients with service issues or account updates when the Rep is away from the office.
- Conduct training with Credit Union employees on Retirement and Investment program processes.
- Independently plan and organize and implement large Client Appreciation Events.
- Provide marketing support by sending invitation letters and following up with phone calls to schedule appointments.
- Organize and maintain current and accurate Client database.
- Track referrals from credit union staff, respond to referrals from all sources (seminars, clients, members, etc.), organize feedback (referral recognition), and organize and plan referral contest.
- Order, organize, and maintain all marketing materials, literature, and supplies as needed.
- Organize quarterly staff newsletter to discuss new products, seminars, and referral winners.
- Plan and communicate marketing strategy on a Quarterly basis.
- Maintain securities, insurance and miscellaneous member files as required.
- Build positive relations with members and credit union staff.
- Develop an understanding of credit union history, philosophy, mission statement, quality statement, organization, bylaws, compliance regulations, and operational procedures.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or equivalent work experience· Ability to work well within a team environment, as well as independently.· Strong organizational skills.· Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.· Comfortable working both face-to-face and over the phone with people.· Strong attention to detail.· Previous experience with SalesForce and proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
