Arkansas Circus Arts, a woman-owned circus studio and entertainment company established in 2013, is searching for a top-notch, Part Time Studio Manager to help us keep the magic in motion!

This is not your average corporate desk job—our studio is filled with energy, movement, and creativity. We’re looking for a highly driven, detail-oriented individual who loves keeping things running smoothly while supporting an exciting community of performers, students, and staff.

• Flexible Schedule: Average of 20-35 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, with some evenings/weekends for special events

Your Role in the Circus

As the Studio Manager, you are the heart of the studio’s daily operations. From scheduling classes and coordinating events to leading staff and ensuring top-notch customer service, you’ll be the glue that holds everything together.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Operational Management

• Be the go-to person for daily studio operations
• Maintain a well-organized and welcoming studio environment
• Manage the class schedule, private lessons, workshops, and events
• Send out weekly staff updates & communications to keep the team in sync

Staff Leadership

• Oversee front desk staff, instructors, and volunteers- a team of 30 people, most of which are part time
• Handle hiring, training, and scheduling of staff
• Provide ongoing feedback and support for team growth

Event Coordination

• Plan and execute spectacular studio events, including:
• Winter, Spring & Summer Open Houses
• Bridal or Trade Shows
• Seasonal Recitals
• Promotional Events
• Handle event logistics, setup, and breakdown

Administrative & Marketing Support

• Help manage billing, tuition, and client accounts
• Oversee internal studio calendar and deadlines
• Assist with marketing campaigns and social media promotions- creating and taking content, checking content and flyers made by others
• Support recital preparation, from costumes to communication

Safety & Customer Service

• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for students and staff
• Enforce studio safety protocols
• Provide stellar customer service—answering calls, emails, and inquiries

The Ideal Candidate:

-Experience in management, customer service, administrative skills and marketing is deal

-Highly organized and detail-oriented

-Excellent leadership and communication skills

-Passionate about the arts, fitness, or creative industries

-Comfortable multitasking in a lively environment

- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset

• This job requires some evening shifts and occasional weekends throughout the year. Are you available for 1-2 evening shifts (til 6 or 7pm) during the week and 4-7 weekends throughout the year?
