We have two (2) positions available:
Position A: Well-Child Care and School Nurse Programs
Primary Focus: You will coordinate and manage community benefit efforts that address the Well-Child Care priority need identified in our 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment. This specifically includes our School Nurse Programs, providing critical support and resources to school health professionals.
Ideal Candidate: We are looking for applicants with experience working as or with school nurses in an educational, public health, or training capacity. A background in youth health education, program coordination, or school health services is highly valuable.
Position B: Infant Health and Nutrition Security
Primary Focus: You will coordinate and manage community benefit efforts that address the Maternal and Infant Health and Nutrition Security priority needs identified in our 2025 Community Health Needs Assessment. These efforts will include collaborating with many internal and external partners and serving as a liaison to connect our clinics to resources.
Ideal Candidate: We are particularly interested in candidates who have a lactation certification (IBCLC, CLC, etc.) or direct experience with WIC, SNAP, food bank operations, or similar nutrition assistance programs. A strong background in maternal and infant health education is key.
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Recommended Education:
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
Required Work Experience:
High School Diploma/GED, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
Recommended Work Experience:
Required Certifications:
Driver's License - Arkansas

Description
- Serves as primary coordinator for AC health education program(s) or region of assigned responsibility.
- Provides appropriate and relevant health education on a variety of topics to interested groups and individuals.
- Oversees selections and/or development of appropriate health education materials for distribution to children and families.
- Works closely with other Community Engagement staff in the scheduling of various programs, events and activities.
- Strives to raise awareness of children's health issues to the general public, particularly in the areas of Wellness, Prevention and Health Promotion.
- Works in collaboration with members of other organizations who offer similar health education programming so as to maximize resources.
- Helps establish, nurture and maintain targeted partnerships in the local community.
- Assists with recruitment, training and supervision of employee volunteers for outreach programs and events.
- Serves as AC representative and assists with coordination and design of AC presence at various community events throughout the state. Selects and gathers appropriate health education materials for distribution.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
