Restaurant Server

At ARK Hospitality, service is more than taking an order. The Restaurant Server delivers warm, genuine hospitality while providing knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient service to every guest. This position supports breakfast, dinner, the bar, the rooftop lounge, banquets, and special events while creating memorable dining experiences.

Compensation: $12.14 - $25 hourly

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hotel serving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic food and beverage knowledge.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler and TIPS certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Physical Requirements
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift and carry trays up to 30 pounds.
• Frequently bend, reach, push, and pull.
• Work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of food, beverages, wines, cocktails, and daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages according to ARK Hospitality and Cambria standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly or involve a manager when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service stations.
• Process guest payments accurately.
• Support rooftop, banquet, and special event service as assigned.
• Assist with opening, closing, side work, and daily cleaning checklists.
• Maintain food safety and responsible alcohol service standards.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams.
• Participate in training and cross-training opportunities.
