Job Title: Intermediate Data Tester
Job Description:
We are seeking three skilled Intermediate Data Testers to join our growing data team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in SQL and ETL testing, with a strong understanding of data validation, data quality, and data pipeline testing. Experience with Azure Databricks is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines, including ETL processes
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple sources
- Write complex SQL queries to analyze and verify data
- Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts
- Identify, log, and track defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution
- Conduct data reconciliation and troubleshoot data discrepancies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in data testing or ETL testing
- Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries, joins, aggregations)
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data validation techniques
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure Databricks
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms
- Knowledge of automation tools for data testing is an asset
