Job Description:
Under administrative direction, performs work of considerable difficulty in the coordination and supervision of registration, academic records and special programs for the College of Law.
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $75,000 per year; DOE

Essential Duties:
- Supervises all registration and enrollment activities, and the establishment and maintenance of student transcripts and records.
- Maintains student database.
- Supervises activities of subordinates.
- Counsels, advises and communicates with students regarding academic, curricular, career and other problems and refers students to appropriate sources as required.
- Interprets and explains law school policies and procedures and loan deferments.
- Approves and certifies programs of study for fulfillment of graduation and state bar exam requirements.
- Plans, coordinates and implements new/special programs such as externship program, Truman Young Fellowship, visiting students program and law school graduation.
- Creates manuals and publications for law school.
- Prepares and maintains graduate student records, files and rosters.
- Coordinates, compiles, prepares and issues reports and statistics regarding law school enrollment, registration, grades and graduating students for internal/external agencies.
- Schedules and monitors examinations including providing proctors and reviewing exams, scheduling exam deferments and posting student grades.
- Organizes facilities for students needing special accommodations.
- Serves on various committees and represents the College of Law.

- Knowledge of computers and word processors.
- Knowledge of campus facilities and resources.
- Skill in both verbal and written communication.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Working Environment:
- Regular activities require the ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts.
- Regular use of standard office equipment including, but not limited to: computer workstation/laptop (keyboard, monitor, mouse), printer, fax, calculator, copier, telephone and associated computer/technology peripherals.
- Receive and participate in regular review of completed tasks for achievement of established objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
