Insurance Verification Specialist/ Front Office Medical

Job Summary

We are a very busy and growing pain practice looking for a dynamic person to add to our wonderful team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Using various resources to verify eligibility and benefits for all new and existing patients on a daily basis.

-Obtain authorization for visits as required by insurance companies.

-Correctly enter/update patient information.

-Contact patients to reconcile/ communicate all insurance discrepancies

-Front office check in/ out

-Scheduling appointments

-Collecting payments

-Answering phones

Qualifications:

-High School Diploma or equivalent

-Knowledge of commercial, AHCCCS, Work Comp, HMO, and PPO insurance policies

-Knowledge of deductibles, co-payments, Out of pockets, and co-insurances

-At least 6 months experience in a medical office setting

-Must be dependable, able to work with little-to-no supervision, someone who likes to be continuously busy, and handles stressful situations well.

-Stable work history

This is a full time position. Monday- Friday 8 am- 5pm with a lunch between 12pm-1pm. No weekends.

Benefits after probationary period include: Health Insurance with HSA contribution, long term disability, PTO/sick pay, and 6 paid holidays. 401k and profit sharing with a defined benefit plan available after 1 year of employment. Pay is $16-$17 to start depending on experience.

Qualifications and Skills

Previous medical office experience or insurance verification position highly desired.
