Ensure that solid dose products are manufactured safely and at the highest quality. Follow Standard Operating Procedures for operating compression and capsulation machines, including monitoring quality. Keep accurate records and work closely with Quality Assurance. Assist other production employees as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
- Operate compression and capsulation machines safely.
- Check for quality of the product during equipment operation every 15 minutes or as directed, and notify the supervisor of any manufacturing issues affecting product quality.
- Adapt to changing company policies, manufacturing methods, and formulation changes.
- Sign log books as necessary regarding production activities, with accurate data and time. Immediately report any mechanical or procedural failures or issues to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Non-supervisory role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six years of work experience.
- No certifications or licenses required.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Basic reading skills required.
- No computer skills needed.
- Must have basic language skills. Fluency in multiple languages is desirable.
- Must have basic writing skills.
- Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
- Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others. Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.

Production area also includes:
- Exposure to food ingredients, including food allergens, in free-floating powder form.
- Moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and risk of electrical shock.
- Noise level usually moderate and often constant.
- Protective equipment such as gloves, hearing protection, masks, back belts, or cGMP attire suits may be required or recommended in certain situations.
