The Marketing Associate supports the Arizona Humane Society's mission by helping plan, coordinate, and execute marketing initiatives that inspire community engagement and strengthen support for our lifesaving programs. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role assists with campaign development, email creation, website updates, analytics, and day-to-day marketing operations. The ideal candidate is a creative, organized professional with strong communication and proofreading skills, experience managing multiple projects, and a passion for animal welfare. With at least three years of marketing project management or creative production experience, they excel at collaborating with internal teams and external partners, managing timelines, producing polished collateral, optimizing campaigns through data insights, and ensuring brand consistency across print and digital media.
Job Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. There will be exposure to dust, heat, cold and temperature changes; occasional wet floors, and animal noises, odors and dander. Most time will be spent in a typical air-conditioned and heated office environment.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications or similar related field
- Must be 21 years old
- Valid Driver's License - you'll be required to occasionally travel among our three campuses
- Solid understanding of overall marketing and branding principles
- Basic knowledge of HTML for website and emails required.
- Advertising agency account management experience a plus
- Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong ability to juggle multiple projects and view task list at high level to prioritize; help troubleshoot conflicting priorities; be calm, cool, and able to flex with ease
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Proficient in Wordpress, Adobe Creative Suite, Asana project management and email marketing software helpful. A bonus: knowledge of Salesforce CRM software.
