Position Summary
Electro Technik Industries is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations at our Tucson facility. This role is responsible for plant performance, production efficiency, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a hands-on leadership position for a manufacturing professional who thrives in a precision electronics environment and is motivated by measurable operational results.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production scheduling and workflow management.
· Drive on-time delivery, productivity, and labor efficiency.
· Improve yield, reduce scrap, and optimize throughput.
· Oversee equipment uptime and production floor performance.
· Ensure ISO9001 compliance and adherence to military quality standards.
· Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
· Manage ERP/MRP system accuracy and inventory control.
· Develop, mentor, and lead supervisors and production teams.
· Implement Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Track KPIs and drive accountability across the facility.
Qualifications
· 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
· Experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
· Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
· Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
· Background in regulated or high-reliability manufacturing environments a plus.
· Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
