Senior Accountant

Job Location: 14610 Archer Dr – Laredo, TX

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the financial operations of the company, supporting accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic decision-making. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a proactive mindset to support the organization’s financial health and growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accounting activities, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and account analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and external regulatory requirements

• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes

• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules and depreciation

• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit documentation

• Review and improve internal accounting processes to increase accuracy and efficiency

• Support accounts payable/receivable as needed and help resolve discrepancies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial-related matters and reporting

• Mentor and support junior accounting team members as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification (or progress toward certification)

• Experience with multi-entity accounting or project-based industries

• Familiarity with construction, real estate, or manufacturing industries

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
