Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Construction Foreman to oversee daily job site operations and ensure crews are working efficiently and safely. This role will be responsible for supervising workers on site, monitoring attendance, enforcing safety standards, and making sure work is being performed according to company expectations.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable holding crews accountable to maintain productivity and safety on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on the job site
- Monitor worker attendance, ensuring proper check-in and check-out of personnel
- Ensure workers are performing tasks according to project plans and quality standards
- Enforce safety regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Conduct routine job site safety checks and address unsafe conditions immediately
- Communicate daily progress and issues to project management
- Ensure job site organization, cleanliness, and proper use of equipment
- Address performance or safety concerns with crew members when necessary
- Assist in coordinating materials, equipment, and labor needs on site
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Construction Foreman, Lead Hand, or Site Supervisor
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices
- Ability to supervise crews and maintain productivity on site
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work outdoors and manage physically demanding job site environments
Preferred
- Experience with residential or commercial construction projects
- Safety training or OSHA certification
