Duties

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions, handle cash, credit, and mobile payments with precision.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly.
• Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, encouraging customer engagement and sales.
• Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store remains inviting and well-maintained.
• Support upselling initiatives by recommending complementary products and informing customers about ongoing promotions.
• Manage inventory levels through stock checks and reporting shortages or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.

Experience

• Bilingual preferred ( Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, ...)
• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not required
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved overseeing daily operations or training new staff.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
