Aristos Rehabilitation and Nutrition Center, a premier healthcare provider in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a talented Dietary Aide to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a valued member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met with care and compassion.

About the Role:

As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our dietary department. Your primary duties will include:

• Assisting with food preparation and support in the kitchen

• Maintaining a clean and organized food service environment

• Assisting with food delivery and collection of trays

• Interacting with residents, families, and staff in a professional and respectful manner

• Participating in quality control and food safety initiatives

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables, and preparing simple meals and snacks
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and supplies
• Assist with food delivery and collection of trays, ensuring resident satisfaction and comfort
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in a professional and respectful manner
• Participate in quality control and food safety initiatives, including maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in food service or healthcare industry preferred
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
