- The Business Office Manager oversees the facility’s business office operations, ensuring compliance with company policies for billing, accounts receivable, census processing, and Medicaid applications in Pennsylvania. This role acts as a liaison between the Administrator, staff, residents, families, and the home office, providing timely reports and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Reconcile daily and monthly census, accounts, and aging reports.
- Meet with admissions, residents, and families regarding financial concerns and billing.
- Manage payments from all payors, verify insurance claims, and obtain MLTSS authorizations.
- Complete and follow up on Medicaid applications and re-determinations.
- Handle Resident Fund Management accounts, Representative Payee paperwork, and specialized billing.
- Maintain financial records, reports, and compliance with home office accounting controls.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and families.
- Minimum 3 years in healthcare financial administration.
