We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team in providing quality care to our residents.

We are seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team in providing quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Ensure the upmost quality and patient-centered care of residents
- Assist the DON with coordination of infection control
- Assist the DON in planing, organizing and implementing training programs/in-services for clinical staff.
- Assist the DON with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
- Assist the DON in ensuring adequate and appropriate staffing of the facilities nursing department. This may include recruitment.
- Assist the DON in overseeing the process for competency evaluations and corrective action plans.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ.
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (RN) license in the State of NJ.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible nursing experience in clinical setting is preferred, but not required.
- Three (3) years of experience in long term care/sub-acute setting is preferred, but not required.
- Infection Control: 1 year experience preferred, but not required. Must have basic knowledge of IP.
- Must be computer literate and have experience with EMR systems. - PCC/SNF preferred, but not required.
- May be required to complete an IP Course, within 3-6 months of hire, (based on facility needs).
