This role is responsible for managing resident flow, developing marketing strategies, and ensuring strong relationships with residents, referral sources, and payers.

Position Summary

The Admissions Director works closely with the Administrator to manage the admissions process, improve occupancy rates, and strengthen the facility’s market presence. This role plays a key part in maintaining high satisfaction levels and promoting a positive public image.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Administrator on resident flow and admissions strategy
• Oversee and manage the admissions process from inquiry to admission
• Develop and implement marketing programs for healthcare services
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, referral sources, and payers
• Ensure high satisfaction among residents, families, and partners
• Achieve facility census goals and market penetration targets
• Maintain a positive public image within the community
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year admissions experience in a Long-Term Care or Hospital setting required
• Post-high school education preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Goal-oriented with the ability to meet census targets
