Part Time Mental Health Professional - Haven In Conway

Arisa Health is currently seeking a dynamic Mental Health Professional to join our Haven Residential facility for adolescent girls in Conway, AR.  The ideal Mental Health Professional will have experience providing services in a Behavioral Health organization or have experience with a community mental health or healthcare organization.

Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.

This position is classified as part- time, nonexempt (hourly) and reports to the Program Coordinator.

Work hours: Part-time, Weekends – Flexible schedule based on availability 

What you will do as a Mental Health Professional at Arisa Health:

• Interview/assess clients for mental health needs and perform individual, family conjoint and group therapy services.
• Document, review, and maintain accurate case records and relevant clinical information.
• Provide counseling and appraisal services to individuals or groups designed to develop an understanding of personal problems, to define goals, to plan activities to assess an individual’s aptitudes, attitudes, abilities, achievements, interests, and personal characteristics as these are related to personal social concerns, and educational progress.

What we look for in a Mental Health Professional:

• Master's degree in counseling or social work
• Current Arkansas license (LAC, LPC, LMSW, PLMSW or LCSW)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to multitask.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Trauma-informed training
• Certified in an EBT for trauma
• Adolescent substance abuse 
• Experience working with DCFS clients and systems 
• Experience working in an adolescent acute or residential facility
