Role Overview
As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will act as the critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and CMDB modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to document detailed requirements for ServiceNow modules.
- Process Mapping: Analyze existing business processes and propose streamlined workflows leveraging ServiceNow functionality.
- Solution Design: Partner with developers and architects to align platform configurations with ITIL best practices.
- Agile Documentation: Develop detailed user stories, process flows, and use cases for configurations and integrations.
- Testing & QA: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business expectations prior to deployment.
- Training & Adoption: Provide end-user support and training on new features to ensure a smooth transition.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years dedicated specifically to ServiceNow implementations and process automation.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and CMDB.
- Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- Analysis Skills: Proficiency in creating user stories, modeling workflows, and translating business needs into technical specs.
- Frameworks: Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
- Location: Candidates must be local to Arizona to support team alignment and specific time zone requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments (Sprint planning, stand-ups).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP) and Flow Designer.
- Familiarity with Customer Service Management (CSM) features like Case Management and Virtual Agent.
- Professional BA certifications (CBAP, IIBA).
