We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mate 200-ton for a 200' class lift boat, dedicated to supporting marine operations with precision and safety. Duties

• Operate and manage the 200-ton lift boat during jacking operations, and water transportation tasks with precision and adherence to safety standards
• Supervise crew members, including training, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with maritime safety procedures and US Coast Guard (USCG) regulations
• Conduct routine vessel maintenance and inspections to uphold vessel integrity and operational readiness
• Oversee rigging operations and manual handling tasks involved in heavy lifting projects
• Navigate marine navigation systems accurately to ensure safe passage and positioning of the vessel in various water conditions
• Communicate effectively with maritime crew members using maritime communication protocols to coordinate tasks efficiently
• Manage vessel documentation, logs, incident reports, and compliance records in accordance with industry standards

Experience

• Proven experience in the water transportation industry with a focus on vessel management and heavy lifting operations
• Strong background in maritime safety procedures, including USCG regulations and maritime piloting techniques
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams as a ship supervisor or similar leadership role within maritime environments
• Hands-on experience with marine navigation systems, vessel maintenance, rigging, and mechanical knowledge of water transportation equipment
• Familiarity with military standards or experience working within military or defense-related maritime operations is advantageous
• Knowledge of boat handling techniques, water transportation equipment maintenance, and maritime crew communication protocols
• Prior experience managing crews in demanding environments while maintaining high safety standards
