Role Description This is a full-time, offshore role located in Youngsville, LA for USCG Licensed Engineers serving on DP2 vessels.
Qualifications
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard engineering license appropriate for DP2 offshore support vessels, with current STCW endorsements.
- Hands-on experience with marine propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and dynamic positioning (DP) equipment on OSV or similar vessels.
- Strong skills in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and use of diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of maritime safety regulations, environmental compliance, and class/flag state requirements.
- Ability to work safely in an offshore environment, collaborate with cross-functional vessel crews, and follow established safety procedures.
- Previous offshore or OSV/PSV engineering experience preferred; DP2 vessel experience is highly beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or maritime engineering education is an advantage.
