Duties
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D architectural drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SketchUp, and Civil 3D
- Create comprehensive schematics and construction documents that meet project specifications and building codes
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to refine design details and resolve drafting challenges
- Prepare accurate technical drawings for various phases of project development, from conceptual design to construction documentation
- Utilize NavisWorks for clash detection and coordination of complex building systems in 3D models
- Assist in developing mechanical design schematics and integrating them into architectural plans
- Support the creation of 2D animation visuals for client presentations or project walkthroughs
Requirements
- Proven experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction practices
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles and schematic development
- Familiarity with 2D animation techniques for visual presentations is a plus
- Ability to interpret architectural blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
