Position Description:
ARiA is looking for a highly motivated self-starter and low-ego team player to join our team as the Contracts Manager, working at our Central Virginia headquarters. This position offers significant potential for advancement as ARiA continues our historical pattern of significant year-on-year growth. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, working in close coordination with members of the of the accounting, security, technical, and executive staff, and supporting our continued growth and success.

Reporting to the Managing Member, the Contracts Manager will own the day-to-day contractual relationships with our customers and ensure successful completion and full compliance of all contract activities from proposal submission through contract closeout, to include:
In support of proposed projects
- Develop high-level work-breakdown structures (WBS) and Gantt charts in coordination with proposal leads
- Guide through completion and ensure timely submission of compliant proposal documents
- Negotiate NDAs and Teaming Agreements with teaming partners
In support of newly awarded and ongoing projects
- Develop detailed WBS and Gantt charts in coordination with technical leads and technical program managers
- Plan, schedule, and oversee (1) execution of project tasks to achieve contractual deliverables, (2) project-team meetings in support of project completion, and (3) customer-facing meetings, demonstrations, and external presentations
- Manage subcontractor and supplier contractual relationships
- Manage relationships with contracting officers and teaming partner contractual representatives
- Ensure that all subcontractor deliverables and invoices are compliant with contract requirements prior to submission to the accounting staff
- Ensure that all employee travel and expense claims are prepared in compliance with contract requirements prior to submission to the accounting staff
Monitor, schedule, and guide to completion over the contract lifecycle:
- Internal documentation and mandated filings with government agencies for onboarding and closeout of contracts
- Electronic submission of cost vouchers/invoices prepared by the accounting staff, deliverables prepared by technical staff, periodic compliance filings, and verifications of required training
- Assist in maintaining and updating company policies and manuals to ensure they are in compliance with all contractual requirements
Requirements:
Applicants selected for employment will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, for access to sensitive information.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
Significant (7 years) experience with requirements and standards for Federal and U.S. Department of War contracting
Significant (7 years) experience managing compliance with government regulations
Superb attention to detail and independent problem-solving skills
Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Excellent oral and written communication skills and professional manner
Proven self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver excellence in a deadline-intensive environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
