We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The CRNA will play a critical role in providing anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This position requires a strong foundation in patient care, physiology, and anatomy, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including reviewing patient histories and performing physical examinations.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Provide pain management solutions tailored to the needs of patients.
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient monitoring.
- Stay updated on current standards and best practices in anesthesia care.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations during procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about the anesthesia process, addressing any concerns or questions.
Experience
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program is required.
- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Experience administering injections and familiarity with various anesthesia techniques is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to anesthesia practice.
- Previous experience in pediatrics is a plus, demonstrating the ability to provide care for diverse patient populations.
- Proven skills in patient monitoring during procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- ACLS Certified
- Spanish (Perferred)
- English (Required)
