Job Purpose
Upholster chairs, recliners, ottomans and sofas in fabric and leather with 100% quality.
Duties And Responsibilities
Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

Qualifications
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Extensive knowledge of inside upholstery methods, tools, and best practices.
Preferred Experience Requirements
3 years’ experience in furniture upholstery.
Minimum Education Requirements
High School Diploma
Preferred Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Skills
Must have knowledge of upholstery procedures.
Must be able to transport frames to and from work area.
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Must be able to walk/stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled.
Must have good vision.
Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe/close-heel shoes when required.
Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.

Job Purpose

Duties And Responsibilities
- Upholster interior sections of furniture according to assigned production lines.
- Collaborate with Product Development (PD) to support the introduction of new pieces into production.
- Perform necessary repair work independently to maintain product quality.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
- Regular and predictable performance of job duties.
Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

- Must be able to use a staple gun, staple puller, scissors, and regulators.
- Must be able to work safely, neatly, and quickly to meet production requirements.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Strict attention to detail is a must.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with managers about production issues.
- Must be reliable.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
