Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Consultant with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code), CI/CD pipeline development, and AWS cloud services, along with a proven track record on premises to AWS cloud migrations.
This role requires a proactive engineer who can design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform modules, workspaces, and remote state management
- Implement and manage core AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ALB/NLB, and KMS
- Lead and support on-prem to AWS cloud migration initiatives
- Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of cloud environments
- Collaborate with development teams for seamless application deployment and integration
- Manage source control workflows using Git/Bitbucket (branching, PR reviews, versioning)
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance
- Follow DevOps best practices for automation, monitoring, and compliance
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10 years of overall IT experience with strong focus on AWS Cloud & DevOps
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Deep knowledge of AWS services: VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Load Balancers, Networking
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and execution
- Proficiency in Git/Bitbucket workflows and version control
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and cloud security best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Knowledge of multi-account AWS environments and governance
- Exposure to Agile/DevOps methodologies
