We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential apartment community located in Hickory, NC. As the Community Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the property and meeting financial, occupancy and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the apartment community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services.
- Resident Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents; address and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Leasing & Marketing: Drive leasing efforts through effective marketing strategies, conducting property tours, cold calls, and following up with potential residents.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the property’s rent collections, operating expenses, and financial/operational reporting. Prepare and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Maintenance Management: Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely and efficient handling of repair requests and property upkeep.
- Compliance: Ensure the property complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate on-site staff, including leasing agents and maintenance personnel. Provide training and performance evaluations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of property management experience, preferably in residential communities.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: Relevant property management certifications (e.g., CAM) are a plus.
- Personal Traits: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to excellent customer service and community-building.
