Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Relationship Manager (RM) with expertise in payment processing solutions. This role is responsible for strengthening existing relationships, assisting with application submissions, and managing partner relationships. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience in the payment processing industry and serve as a key liaison between clients, agents, and internal teams. You will play a critical role in supporting smooth and efficient application processes while helping drive long-term growth.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of payment technologies, and the ability to align client needs with our solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of industry partners, ensuring timely and professional support.
- Review and process merchant applications, ensuring completeness and compliance before submission.
- Maintain and develop agent relationships to drive future growth.
- Organize and track application documentation, providing clear updates to all stakeholders.
- Review new partner setup packages for accuracy and compliance with internal requirements.
- Conduct training sessions on internal systems, tools, and policies for agents and partners.
- Monitor onboarding progress, assisting with new account submissions and merchant activations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and meet client needs effectively.
- Respond promptly to partner and merchant inquiries while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve service delivery and strengthen partner relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in the payment processing or merchant services industry (TSYS experience preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and related data programs.
- Strong data entry skills with at least 90% accuracy.
