Project & Marketing Coordinator

Argus Medical Management is a physician practice management company that has served physician communities in the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas for 30 years. Argus Medical provides comprehensive billing and managements services which include contracting, credentialing, HR services, accounting, etc. to support Physicians in private practice.

Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Hours: Mon-Fri, 8 hours shift, 8:30am-5pm

Summary

Seeking a skilled Project & Marketing Coordinator to support COO with special projects, marketing efforts, and business development initiatives that will contribute to membership growth and retention.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managed care and IPA operations, along with a solid understanding of membership growth and engagement strategies. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate will work with internal teams and external partners to help achieve growth targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies across various channels.

• Serve as a special project and marketing coordinator for the COO
• Assist with new business development efforts by creating marketing materials, proposals, and presentations tailored to prospective clients
• Support IPA membership growth and retention initiatives through strategic planning and execution of outreach and engagement campaigns.
• Draft content for internal and external communications including newsletters, marketing collateral, case studies, and client engagement tools.
• Track and report on project progress, marketing performance metrics, and membership data to support informed decision-making.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and communications for multiple ongoing initiatives.
• Support the COO with administrative and analytical tasks, including scheduling, research, and document preparation as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Marketing experience or training, with the ability to develop content and messaging that aligns with business goals.
• Understanding of IPA structures, membership growth and retention strategies, and healthcare delivery systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently under minimal supervision

Experience, Licenses, Certification and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in IPA management, HMO operations, or managed care.
• Experience working in or with a Management Services Organization (MSO).
• Familiarity with healthcare marketing regulations and HIPAA compliance.
• Graphic design or visual content creation (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
