What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Assistant position at Argos Inn?
Argos Inn has two high volume craft cocktail bars.
Bar Argos is open 7 days a week from 4pm -10pm.
Argos Warehouse is open seasonally Thursday - Saturday from 7pm-12am.
We are currently seeking someone to assist with all forms of service during the night.
Duties include:
-Juice and drink ingredient prep
-Drink running
-Stocking (must be able to lift 30lbs)
-Cashier duties
-Wine and beer service
- Hosting/Greeting guests
This position involves both back and front of house. The Bar Assistant will need to interact with the public. No prior cocktail knowledge is required yet some food service experience is required.
This would be a great stepping stone entry-level position with potential room to grow within our organization. The right candidate could eventually train into multiple roles including bartending.
The right candidate will have awesome time management skills, 1 year service industry experience, ability to work both independently and with a team, and the ability to work within a fast paced environment.
Approximately 4 shifts a week.
Salary: $10.68/hour tips, with an average total of about $26/hour
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
