Wealth and Trust Assistant
General Job Description
A Wealth/Trust Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the client relationship management team with administrative and operational tasks. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to provide exceptional client service.
Essential Duties
- Maintains a very high level of confidentiality in all matters related to internal and external clients, prospects and centers of influence
- Provide administrative and clerical support for Wealth Advisors, Trust Officer(s) and Portfolio Manager(s) including, but not limited to, trust transactions (disbursements, income, etc.), submitting investment trades, preparation of correspondence as requested, preparation of discretionary request documentation for Account Acceptance and Trust Committee, preparation and/or facilitation of maintenance for special assets.
- Corresponds with clients, centers of influence and prospects while maintaining a professional yet personable level of communication and interaction
- Handles routine questions from clients
- Coordinate with clients’ external professional advisors including CPAs and attorneys
- Opening, closing and maintenance of accounts
- Coordination of tax reporting
- Monitoring of cash balances for overdrafts or large balances
- Perform research, documentation and database input as requested
- Preparation of client and marketing presentations
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintaining excellent and well-organized records and files
- May attend meetings with advisors and relationship managers as necessary
- Answer phones and greet visitors, clients, centers of influence and prospects
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance
- Experience in financial services, investments, trust administration. tax or legal field
- High degree of attention to detail
