Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Associate II to join our dynamic team. The Warehouse Associate II will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of goods within our facility.
Duties
- Operate forklifts, reach truck, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials.
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling as required to support warehouse operations.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues with machinery on checklist.
Conduct routine cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related fields is essential. Fishbowl WMS system knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with order picking processes, including experience as an order picker is preferred.
- Knowledge of standup forklift/ reach truck experience a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience with shipping & receiving protocols, including documentation accuracy.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Understanding of construction principles can be beneficial for certain tasks within the warehouse environment.
