New Business Development and Sales Opportunity

Arett Sales, the premier distributor of Lawn, Garden, Home, and Holiday products, is expanding our sales team across multiple regions in the U.S including the Michigan region.
We’re looking for a New Business Development and Territory Sales Manager to grow and strengthen partnerships with a wide range of customers—from independent garden centers and nurseries to hardware stores, farm & feed stores, hydroponic shops, municipalities, landscapers, specialty retailers, and regional/multi-store chains.
This role combines account management with new business development, offering an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in diverse markets.
What You’ll Do
- Grow the Territory: Manage and expand existing accounts while developing new customer relationships.
- Fuel Seasonal Success: Identify sales opportunities, secure displays, and promote new product launches.
- Support Customers: Deliver merchandising, marketing, and consumer promotions that drive sell-through.
- Be the Face of Arett: Represent us at major trade shows and corporate selling events, including Open House, Pottery Showcase, Summer Marketplace, and Good Tidings Holiday Showroom.
- Drive Strategy: Analyze market activity, monitor competitors, and develop winning account strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of field sales experience with proven success (manufacturer or wholesale distributor preferred).
- Experience in lawn & garden, hardware, farm, hydroponic, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary systems.
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
