The BIM Security Designer will be responsible for all aspects of Security design process for assigned projects (as needed) Assist BIM Manager with day-to-day tasks. Each project shall be managed to agreed project specific scope of work (SOW) provided by the customer.

About The Role
The BIM Security Designer will be responsible for all aspects of Security design process for assigned projects (as needed) Assist BIM Manager with day-to-day tasks. Each project shall be managed to agreed project specific scope of work (SOW) provided by the customer.
What You'll Do
- Recommend opportunities for increased workflow efficiencies.
- Assist on implementing Designer and Project Manager designs in Revit format.
- BIM Coordination with MEP trades and our models.
- Work with live and local Revit models and assist on creating families.
- Work with CAD when needed.
- Use Navisworks Management & BimTrack for Clash Detection.
- Revizto Clash Detection when needed.
- BIM Document management.
- Be able to use Bluebeam to do markups and gather markup information from team members.
- Generate project closeout documentation (As-builts & Final Drawings).
- Assist other team members when needed to complete projects & have productive communication with all team members.
- Quality Control of your own work and other when asked to be reviewed.
- Work with different markups/sketches and implement them into CAD and/or Revit when needed.
- Attending project meetings with the team to review progress and deadlines.
- Attend BIM Coordination Meetings for different projects as needed or required by BIM Manager.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience designing electronic security and surveillance systems, including intrusion detection systems
- ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) certification (preferred)
- Experience in hyperscale data center environments and familiarity with construction processes
- Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel occasionally based on project needs
- Manufacturer certifications preferred: HID, Lenel, Axis, FLIR, Hanwha, Pelco, Bosch, Quanergy, Genetec, Assa Abloy
