The New York office of ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking an Insurance Associate to join the 3rd to 4th year associate class. The successful candidate will have a concentrated background in insurance and reinsurance matters, including regulatory and insurance-focused transactional work, ideally gained at an upscale boutique or national/international firm. We are looking for an associate who can take on responsibility and handle the full spectrum of insurance/reinsurance regulatory and transactional matters. Litigation experience is also important, including taking and defending multiple depositions and arguing pre-trial and substantive motions in court. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials, strong organizational and writing skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work closely—and independently—with sophisticated clients. The good faith base salary range for this position is a minimum of $240,000 to a maximum of $275,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, education, applicable bar admissions, and the candidate’s overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer a comprehensive bonus system with opportunities for associates to receive: hours-based productivity bonuses, cash bonuses for business generation and expansion, and merit-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding performance and contributions ranging from $10,000-$200,000 .

Salary : $240,000 - $275,000
