Now Hiring: Process Engineer | Central New York
I’m partnering on a direct hire Process Engineer opening with a well-established, global manufacturing organization in Central New York. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in a plant environment, solving real production challenges, improving processes, and driving measurable results.
This team needs someone with 3 years of manufacturing engineering or process engineering experience who can work independently, build credibility on the floor, and help improve reliability, efficiency, quality, and performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will support day-to-day manufacturing operations, troubleshoot process issues, partner closely with production and maintenance, help launch new products and equipment, lead process improvements, and support capital projects. You will also work cross-functionally with operations, quality, maintenance, and other internal teams to improve uptime, reduce waste, and strengthen overall plant performance.
What They’re Looking For
Candidates should have:
- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or similar plant-based engineering role
- A technical or engineering background
- Strong troubleshooting and continuous improvement skills
- Experience working directly with production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative with limited oversight
Experience with capital projects, Lean, Six Sigma, process optimization, and plant-floor problem solving is highly valued.

Compensation
Base salary is expected to be in the $78K to $90K range, depending on experience.
