What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, AC systems, and air handlers
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, and control issues
- Read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
- Provide homeowners with clear explanations and repair recommendations
- Complete accurate service documentation and job notes
- Maintain clean, organized company vehicles and work areas
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally
- Work collaboratively with dispatch, install teams, and management to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- 3 years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- EPA Certification required (Universal preferred)
- Ability to independently diagnose system issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycle, airflow, and controls
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented mindset
- Pride in workmanship and doing quality work the first time
