What are the responsibilities and job description for the Options Counselor position at Area Five Agency on Aging & Community Services?
Counsels and aids individuals and families requiring information and assistance. Provides direct Options Counseling by assessing and analyzing client requests and/or needs; explores problem resolution alternatives. Completes insurance application assistance and understanding; facilitate referrals to community and agency programs; and intervention as appropriate. Qualifications: A Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional who meets the requirements at 42 CFR 483.430; or, a registered nurse with one year’s experience in human services; or, a bachelor’s degree in any field; or, an associate's degree in nursing; or, a master’s degree in any field.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
